It's really hard to get emotional when I'm editing a scene in my story. 

Instead of getting sucked into the events, I'm rearranging and replacing words, reading the same sentences over and trying to make them as smooth as possible. 

It sucks, because this is a scene where one of my favorite characters dies. And I can't even feel it properly!

But I just finished a big edit of the story! I'm going to scan through it once more and give it a last good polish. But I think it's in pretty good shape!
