When I link something new to something old, I might suddenly like it much faster. For example, if I'm watching a movie and I hear a song I recognize, I'm more likely to find that song and listen to it more.
Or during a series, when a character reappears after they've been away for a while.
And when I realize that an actor has done other roles I loved.
