Chain mail. You can buy it at places like the renaissance fair. It's REALLY REALLY heavy. I tried to lift it and I could barely get it off the ground.
But someone had chain mail made of aluminum! So it was really lightweight and he could wear it around really easily! That would be cool.
I feel sorry for all the knights who had to wear mail like that as armor.
The first time I read a book that talked about mail, I had no idea what it was talking about. I never knew it was armor. Heheh. Now I know.
