Your Own Dragon

Thanks for the links, Steph. I'll have to check them out later. My cousins are coming over from Portland. I don't know if I'll be able to finish this post before they get here.
So, as I mentioned a couple posts ago, I told Ellen to draw what her dragon would look like if she had one. Which got me thinking. I should put up some guidelines for making your own dragon.
Previously, I though my 14 dragon species did a pretty good job of including all the dragons you'd see around. Unless you come up with some strange 6-legged webbed-fingered creature like Ellen's dragon. Yeah. So, my dragons cover the more... standard dragons. But just in case, here's the list.

First of all, the basics.
Does your dragon use wings, or does it float?
How many legs does it have? Most dragons have four. But does it have no legs? Two? Four? (Or six, nine, three, ex). Does it have legs, or are they just forearms without hind legs? Or visa versa.
What color is it? Is it a solid color? Does it have stripes, spots, splotches, or streaks? Is its belly, back ridge, and horns different from the rest of the scales?
How big is it?
What element is it? Fire-breathing? Ex.

And to more details:
Scales, skin, or fur?
Does it have a long slender body, or a thicker muscular body?
Is it a fast dragon? Or a slower and stronger battle dragon?
What shape is its head? Triangular, wedge-like, box-like, or roundish?
Does it have any frills on its face? Does it have long whiskers?
Do its teeth stick out? Do they have sharp carnivore teeth?
How about it neck? Short and thick or long and maneuverable?
Does it have ears? Is there a scaly ear, or a webby ear, or no visible ear?
How bout horns? It might not have any, but it could have thinner horns, or thick ram horns, ex.
Does it have a back ridge? Or a frill? Maybe even feathers.
How bout the tail? Long and whip-like, or short and thick? Does it have a barb at the end, or a spade tail, spikes, or a blade? Maybe nothing.
How bout its feet? Does it have claws?

And of course, is it a boy or girl?
Whit's his or her name? Name's are important. Think of a good one. Try asking our dragon what its name is!

And finally, what would YOU look like if you were a dragon?
