Cinquain

I guess I should post about our first creative writing assignment, which was due two weeks ago.
It was called a cinquain.
Cinguains are very short. They're only five lines, with a handful of words. Your challenge is to pack as much image/emotion/power in there in as few words as possible. Brief and concise.
There are a few ways to do a cinquain.

First line: 1 word
Second line: 2 words
Third line: 3 words
Fourth line: 4 words
Fifth line: 1 word

First line: noun
Second line: 2 adjectives
Third line: 3 -ing words
Fourth line: a phrase
Fifth line: another word for the noun

First line: 2 syllables
Second line: 4 syllables
Third line: 6 syllables
Fourth line: 8 syllables
Fifth line: 2 syllables

They're fun to play around with. I tried one of each kind, working with the same theme because I was lazy.

Blossoms
Thick and sweet
Nesting close together
Nestled against fragile twigs
Perfume

Petals
Pale, delicate
Drifting, floating, alighting
Cloud flakes fallen from heaven
Bloom

Cherry
Blooming cloudburst
Cotton covered hillside
Clouds painted by a sinking sun
Blossom
